About The Jewish Federation The Jewish Federation serves as the representative agency for the Jewish community and maintains a relationship between the Jewish community and the community at large. The Federation promotes unity and cooperation among Jewish organizations and groups in the community and encourages programs that will enhance the general welfare and quality of life of the local Jewish population. This organization will receive, hold and administer funds, gifts, bequests or otherwise real or personal property and will distribute this money for philanthropic and cultural needs. Our Vision The Jewish Federation Inc., a prominent institution serving Northern Fairfield, Southern Litchfield, and Putnam Counties, integrates philanthropy, volunteerism, Israel advocacy, and social action to build a vibrant, collaborative, Jewish community. Jewish Federation provides leadership and generates financial resources for:

FROM NEW YORK CITY/LONG
ISLAND/NEW JERSEY:
Take any major interstate highway north to meet I-684 North toward Brewster.
Exit I-684 to I-84 East to Danbury (Exit #9E.) Get off highway at Exit
3, bear right and follow signs to Danbury Mall. At light (facing
Filene’s Dept Store) turn left. Go to the third light, turn left, then
immediate right into parking lot. Enter main door, office is to the
left.

Take I-84 West toward
Danbury. Get off at Exit 3 (Route 7 South/Norwalk) and get off at
first exit leading to Danbury Mall. Follow to light (facing Filene’s
Dept Store) and turn left. Go to the third light, turn left, then
immediate right into parking lot. Enter main door, office is to the

Norman Greenstein, Executive Director Local Residents The Jewish Federation maintains a mailing list of all households in the communities served by the federation. The FOCUS newspaper is mailed six times a year to this list and serves to inform residents of all events of interest to the community. We are always looking for new names to add to our database and appreciate your forwarding names to the office or registering directly on this website.
